It’s a big developmental week in the nursery, with both Serenity’s and Sophie’s litters reaching exciting, but very different, stages of their early learning journey.
Serenity’s Puppies: Deep in Their ENS & ESI Phase
Serenity’s little ones are now well and truly in the middle of their Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) program. These short, purposeful exercises may look simple, but they play a powerful role in shaping confident, resilient puppies.
Each day, they experience gentle handling positions, light tactile stimulation, and a new scent to investigate. Their growing curiosity is already showing—tiny noses working overtime and little bodies relaxing more readily in our hands. It’s such a privilege watching these early foundations take root.
Sophie’s Puppies: Eyes Open, Ears Open, World Open
Over in Sophie’s whelping box, her puppies have just completed their ENS/ESI phase and have moved into an exciting new stage: their eyes and ears have opened!
With the world suddenly becoming much bigger and much brighter, these puppies are ready to begin exploring small, safe items in the whelping box. Soft textures, gentle sounds, and new shapes will slowly be introduced over the coming days. This stage is all about building confidence through discovery, and we love watching their little personalities begin to take shape—some bold, some cautious, all absolutely beautiful.
What’s Next?
As Serenity’s babies continue their sensory foundation work, Sophie’s will start tackling early problem-solving activities, gentle enrichment, and the very first wobbly steps toward play.
It’s one of the most rewarding times in our program, every day brings a new milestone, a new discovery, and often a new adorable moment caught on camera.
We can’t wait to share more updates as both litters grow, learn, and continue blossoming through our “From Whelp to Woof” curriculum.
