Three Days New – The Start of ENS & ESI

Our beautiful Sundae is doing an incredible job with her six sweet bundles of chocolate-and-white joy. At just three days old, they spend most of their time nursing and sleeping in a warm, safe nest under Mum’s watchful eye.

Today marks another special milestone – the beginning of Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI). These gentle, short daily exercises help support the puppies’ developing nervous systems, build resilience to stress, and encourage curiosity and confidence as they grow.

ENS involves simple handling techniques, while ESI introduces them to safe, new scents – all done with care to keep experiences positive and brief. Though their eyes and ears are still closed, their little bodies and brains are already learning and making connections that will last a lifetime.

Watching them wriggle, stretch, and relax in our hands is a beautiful reminder of how important these early days are. Every touch, every scent, and every moment with their mum is helping shape the happy, confident companions they’ll one day become. 💖
