Bittersweet Goodbyes: Lucy’s Puppies Head Home

It’s hard to believe that the time has already come… Lucy’s beautiful puppies are getting ready to head off to their forever homes this week.

It feels like just yesterday they were tiny little newborns, completely dependent on Mum, and now they’re confident, playful, and full of personality. Watching them grow has been such a joy - from their first wobbly steps to their cheeky little games with each other, every stage has been something special.

This week we did their final photoshoot, and as always, it’s one of our favourite traditions… and one of the hardest. Capturing their little faces, their unique markings, and those gorgeous expressions is so special - but it also makes it all feel very real that they’re about to leave us.

There’s always a mix of emotions at this point. A little sadness, of course, because each puppy leaves a paw print on our hearts. But overwhelmingly, we feel so grateful.

Grateful for Lucy, who has been the most incredible mum.

Grateful for the opportunity to raise these puppies with so much love, care, and intention.

And most of all, grateful for the wonderful families who are waiting so excitedly to welcome them home.

We pour so much into these early weeks - the enrichment, the cuddles, the routines, the little moments that help shape them into calm, confident companions. Knowing they are going to families who truly value that, and who will continue that journey, makes it all worthwhile.

To our Lucy litter families - thank you for trusting us. We cannot wait to watch these puppies grow with you and see the beautiful lives ahead of them.
