The most popular colours are the shades of red which range from a light wheaten/champagne colour on the light side to the dark red/mahogany. We find most of the dark red colours fade in time and scientists are yet to discover the elusive non-fading red gene and what causes some reds to fade more than others. The lovely wheaten/champagne colour tends to stay true from what they look like as a puppy. Red is also mistakenly called brown (well it does look brown!). Brown is a recessive gene and harder to achieve. We are looking forward to our first brown (chocolate) and white puppies from Sundae and Bogie due in October! Enjoy some of our Harley & Co puppies featured in this video explaining the colour range 🌈
