If you’ve been hoping for a truly special little boy to join your family, and guardianship has been something you’ve been considering, this could be the perfect time to apply.
Our guardian families are an incredibly important part of what we do. They are kind, committed dog lovers who want to be part of something bigger — helping to raise thoughtfully bred puppies who go on to become deeply loved family members. If you’re reading this, you already understand just how much joy and meaning dogs bring into our lives.
Everything we do is guided by welfare. Ethical breeding means always putting the dogs first, and that’s how we actively stand against puppy farming and poor breeding practices. We truly believe guardianship offers the best of both worlds — our dogs live full lives as adored family pets, while also contributing to our program in a way that is calm, carefully managed, and always in their best interests.
So, what does guardianship look like for a boy?
Guardian families receive one of our puppies with no purchase cost involved. We see guardianship as a genuine partnership built on trust, transparency, and shared values.
For our boys, guardianship is very different from our girls. Alfie would live with you full-time as your much-loved family dog. He would only ever be away briefly for occasional vet visits or breeding appointments, returning straight back home. Boys are used very selectively over a limited timeframe (generally 4–5 years), ensuring their wellbeing, routine, and quality of life always come first.
We are so grateful for the families who already walk this journey with us, and we provide ongoing support every step of the way. Guardians are always welcome to be involved and connected to the program in whatever way feels right for them.

We do prefer guardians to live close by (Eatons Hill) or close to our reproductive vet at Stafford.
If welcoming Alfie into your life and being part of something thoughtful, ethical, and deeply rewarding feels right, we would love to hear from you 🤍
