Learning to Sit and Ring the Bell – Building Good Habits Early
In today’s video, you’ll see our clever pups—Angus, Zoe, and Bambi—starting to learn two important skills: sit and bell pushing. These might seem like simple tricks, but they’re actually the foundation of clear communication between pups and their future families.
Teaching puppies to sit helps them develop focus, patience, and self-control—skills that will be essential for everyday life, from waiting for meals to greeting people politely. Meanwhile, learning to push a bell helps them understand how to ask for things appropriately (like going outside), reducing future frustration and accidents.
These early lessons are part of our From Whelp to Woof! curriculum, which is all about giving puppies the best start in life. By introducing gentle training while they’re still young and eager to learn, we’re helping them grow into confident, well-mannered companions—ready to settle into their new homes with ease.
