Two weeks old 🥰

Sundae’s puppies are already two weeks old today! They’re still in that sweet newborn stage, spending most of their time snuggled together and nursing, but big changes are just around the corner.

At this age, their eyes are still closed, which is completely normal. Puppies are born with their eyes and ears shut to help protect their developing senses. Most puppies begin to open their eyes between 10–14 days, though sometimes it can take up to three weeks. Their ears will follow soon after, usually opening around the two- to three-week mark. When that happens, they’ll start to experience the world in new ways—sight, sound, and eventually those playful little barks!

For now, they’re happily growing stronger each day, learning the comfort of touch, warmth, and smell. We can’t wait to watch their personalities begin to shine as their senses awaken. Stay tuned—things are about to get a lot more exciting!
